Your New Zealand company must have at least one resident director. We currently accept directors from New Zealand and Australia. Quid can help appoint a New Zealand-based director through a Nominee service. Please contact us for more information if you need help with this.
Company Formation
Once you have received notification of incorporation, you will receive your certification via email and will be able to view your certificate in your Quid account soon.
To open an account, we will need to verify your identity and address, along with additional directors, Shareholders and Ultimate Beneficial Owners.
We will need some basic information, including:
- Proof of Identity
- Proof of Address
- Date of Birth
- Contact details
- Company Name
- Company Number
- Financial information
- Proof of business activities
Yes, make sure you select ‘A Company’ when you register an account. You will need to provide your company name and company number in addition to some contact details.
Please send your request to our helpdesk at help@quidglobal.com and we can make the changes for you. You will be soon able to update company registers, including director and UBO registers, directly in the Quid platform. We’ll let you know once this is available.
The basic package (for NZ Limited company) is a one-off fee of $278.50 inclusive of GST. It includes company incorporation via Companies Office (Limited company), a certificate, and a company extract. There will be a set-up cost and an annual renewal fee for those opting for a registered address or nominee service (available soon on the Quid platform). Find out more
Incorporating your company via Quid generally takes approximately 4-5 hours if you select the Basic package (subject to Companies Office and excluding weekends, out of hours and public holidays). For registered address and nominee services (available soon on the Quid platform), it could take longer. We will notify you once the company is incorporated, and you will receive your certificate and documents.
Quid currently allows you to incorporate a New Zealand Limited company with more entity types and countries available soon.
